Research activities:

In 1999 she defended her dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic: “The Efficiency of High Frequency Electromagnetic Radiation of Low Intensity in Treatment of Chronic Gastroduodenitis in Children” (specialty 14.01.10 - pediatrics).

In 2014 she defended her dissertation for the degree of doctor of medical sciences on the topic: “Clinical and Pathogenetic Aspects of Course Rheumatic Disease in Children, the Optimizing of Treatment and its Prevention” (specialty 14.01.10 - pediatrics).

Docent of the Pediatrics Department, Faculty of Postgraduate Education since 2008, professor of the Department of Pediatric Diseases and Pediatric Surgery of Ternopil State Medical University named after I. Ya. Horbachevsky since 2014.

In 1973 she graduated with honors Yahilnytsk’ secondary school and entered to Ternopil State Medical Institute named after I. Ya. Horbachevsky.

In 1980 she graduated from the Medical Department of this higher educational establishment, received the

diploma with honors in specialty "Medicine".

Research activities:

In september 1987 at Specialized Academic Council in Kyiv Research Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology named after prof. P. M. Bujka she defended her dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic: “The Clinical Significance of Structural and Functional state of Biological Membranes in Various Forms of Hypotrophy” (specialty 14.01.10 - pediatrics). In october 1998 she successfully defended at this Specialized Academic Council dissertation for the degree of doctor of medical sciences on the topic: “Clinical and Pathogenetic Grounds of Complex Treatment of Chronic Nutrition Disorders in Infants” (specialty 14.01.10 - pediatrics).

Research interests:

The main directions of her research activities is to study influence adverse environmental factors on the health of children, breastfeeding problems, allergic diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, pneumonia, diffuse toxic goiter, state of organism reactivity of healthy and sick children.

Every year the Department of Pediatric Diseases and Pediatric Surgery, headed by prof. O. Ye. Fedortsiv organizes republican and regional conferences on the topic: “Medical, Social and Environmental Problems of Childhood”. Since 2009 the department is actively involved in international epidemiological studies of asthma prevalence and other allergic diseases among children in Eastern Europe.

The Department of Pediatric Diseases and Pediatric Surgery has established close scientific relations with the Department of Epidemiology of Silezinsky Medical University (Katowice, Poland), Medical Academy of Wroclaw University (Poland), University of Saskatchewan (Canada), Hrodnensky State University named after Yanka Kupala and Grodnensky State Medical University (Belarus).

In 1994 she defended her dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic: “Pathogenetic Grounds of Using Enterosorption and Nucleinatis Natrii in Children with Pyelonephritis” (specialty 14.01.10 - pediatrics). Since 1994 she began to work as an assistant at the Department of Pediatrics in Ternopil State Medical Academy. In 2002 she received the highest qualification category on the specialty "Pediatrics" and awarded the rank of docent. At the moment she is working as a docent and head teacher at the Department of Pediatric Diseases and Pediatric Surgery of Ternopil State Medical University named after I. Ya. Horbachevsky.

In 2014 she passed courses in pediatric gastroenterology at the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P. L. Shupyk of the Health Care Ministry and was awarded the title of doctor Specialist in “Children's Gastroenterology”.

Research interests:

Research and correction of physical development in children nutrition, child nutrition study and improvement of new diagnostic methods, treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal diseases, study of microelementosis.

In 1986 she graduated from the Medical Department of Ternopil State Medical Institute named after I. Ya. Horbachevsky, after she worked as pediatrician in Borshchiv district hospital. Since January 1989 she worked as neonatologists in Ternopil obstetric hospital. Since September 1989 she entered to clinical residency on the speciality “Pediatrics” of Ternopil State Medical Institite named after I. Ya. Horbachevsky, after graduating she worked as assistant of the Pediatrics Department of this higher educational establishment. Since March 2007 she was elected to the post of docent at the Department of Pediatric Diseases and Pediatric Surgery of Ternopil State Medical University named after I. Ya. Horbachevsky.

In 1996 she defended her dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic: “The Efficiency of Magnetic-Laser Therapy in the Treatment of Pyelonephritis in Children” (specialty 14.01.10 - pediatrics).

She is doctor of the highest qualification category in the speciality “Pediatrics” and a member of public organization "Doctors of square". Is member of international scientific research (Poland, Canada, Ukraine, Belarus) study on asthma prevalence among children. Research activities:

In 1998 she defended her dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic: “Defeat the Upper digestive tract in children with nonspecific respiratory infection” (specialty 14.01.10 - pediatrics). In 2001 was awarded the academic rank of docent. In 2014 - specialization of “Children's infectious diseases” at the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P. L. Shupyk of the Health Care Ministry.

Research interests:

Development of monitoring system of the health and nutrition in early childhood, studying of psycho-functional relationship between mother and child and psychophysiology of sleep depending on feeding babies, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases at the present stage. She graduated from the Medical Department of Ternopil State Medical Institute named after I. Ya. Horbachevsky, began to work at the Pediatrics Department of this higher educational establishment from 1993.

Research activities:

In 1998 she defended her dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences in National Medical University named after O. O. Bohomolets on the topic: “Clinical and Metabolic Disorders in Children with Acute Dysentery and Enterosgel Efficiency in Treatment” (specialty 14.01.10 - pediatrics), the supervisor of the thesis was a member of the Academy of Medical Sciences in Ukraine, prof. I. Smiyan. Since 2004 she is the docent of the Department of Faculty and Hospital Pediatrics.

Research interests:

Infectious diseases of childhood, their active prevention continues to be a favorite, but not the only subject for scientific research, diagnositic of emotional component of developing chronic diseases in children.

In 2002 he defended her dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic: “Features of Structure and Formation of Long Bones Influenced by Stress Factors and Their Correction with Anti-Cytokine Drugs in Children” (specialty 14.01.03 - surgery). Since 2005 he is the docent of Pediatrics Department with Children’s Surgery.

Research interests:

Introducing new modern methods of treatment and diagnostics of various surgical pathology in children, development of complex treatments septic diseases and birth defects of the gastrointestinal tract. Many modern methods of treatment had been introduced such as: transanal intestinal intubation combined with a programmable laparotomy with diffuse peritonitis and intestinal obstruction, percutaneous and open intramedullar osteo perforation in osteomyelitis and in newborns - arthro joint puncture and drainage, one-step treatment hipospadiy (plastic urethra), orhopeksiya through a "window" in the aponeurosis at the inguinal cryptorchidism.

New techniques are implemented in the surgery department such is: ventrykul-perytoneum shunt with hydrocephalus, Pan’s operation in anorectal atresia, operation Soave with Hirschsprung's disease, surgical intervention in infants with various malformations (hastroshyzis, omphalocele, esophageal atresia and different parts of the intestine, intestinal abnormalities), laparoscopy both in planned and emergency surgery, infrared coagulation in treating of hemangiomas.

In 2014 she defended her dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences in Ternopil State Medical University named after I. Ya. Horbachevsky on the topic: “Clinical and Pathogenetic Grounds of Diagnostic and Correction of Microelement Disorders in Young Children with Iron Deficiency Anemia” (specialty 14.01.10 - pediatrics). Since November 2014 work as an assistant of Pediatrics Department with Children’s Surgery in Ternopil State Medical University named after I. Ya. Horbachevsky. In March 2015 passed attestation in Central Attestation Commission of the Health Care Ministry of Ukraine and received the highest qualification doctor’s category, specialty "Pediatrics". “Substantiation of expediency inclusion in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia complex microelement drug”, “Determination of some microelements’s levels (copper, zinc) in infants with iron deficiency anemia” was introduced in practical medicine. The following rationalization proposals were offered: “Diagnostic methods for diselementosis in children with iron deficiency anemia” and “The method of correction of certain microelements deficiency in young children”.

Scientific publications and ratings:

Assistant Ya. V. Rohalska is an author and coauthor of more than 16 scientific publications, 1 patent for utility model. Methodological recommendations are developed for an expanded scope of laboratory examinations of young children with iron deficiency anemia, which involves determining the content of certain micro and macroelements (copper, zinc, magnesium) in biological fluids. The method of treating patients with iron deficiency anemia through therapeutic application in complex feroterapiya additionally complex microelement drug was proposed.

Since 2004 he is the docent of the Department of Faculty and Hospital Pediatrics. He is the head of orthopedic and trauma department in Ternopil Region Children Hospital and chief freelance children's orthopedic traumatologist.

Research interests:

Modern methods of surgical treatment of torticollis, congenital hip dislocation, clubfoot, Blount disease, bone tumors, primary surgical treatment of wounds using external fixators, intramedullary and other types of bone osteosynthesis in childrens with bone fractures, biopotentials and blood supply to the brain during osteochondropathy syndrome in children, modern methods of surgical treatment (minimally invasive osteosynthesis) of bone fractures using titanium construction with angular stability and elastic rods.

In 2006 he defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences in Specialized Academic Council of Ternopil State Medical Academy named after I. Ya. Horbachevsky on the topic: “The Ways of Improving Results of Operative Interventions Revascularization in Patients with Chronic Critical Lower Limb Ischemia” (specialty 14.01.03 - surgery). Since 2011 he is the docent of Pediatrics Department with Children’s Surgery.

Research interests:

Introducing new modern methods of treatment and diagnostics of various surgical pathology in children, development of complex treatments septic diseases and birth defects of the gastrointestinal tract. Many modern methods of treatment had been introduced such as: transanal intestinal intubation combined with a programmable laparotomy with diffuse peritonitis and intestinal obstruction, percutaneous and open intramedullar osteo perforation in osteomyelitis and in newborns - arthro joint puncture and drainage, one-step treatment hipospadiy (plastic urethra), orhopeksiya through a "window" in the aponeurosis at the inguinal cryptorchidism.

New techniques are implemented in the surgery department such is: ventrykul-perytoneum shunt with hydrocephalus, Pan’s operation in anorectal atresia, operation Soave with Hirschsprung's disease, surgical intervention in infants with various malformations (hastroshyzis, omphalocele, esophageal atresia and different parts of the intestine, intestinal abnormalities), laparoscopy both in planned and emergency surgery, infrared coagulation in treating of hemangiomas.
